Hello I was wondering which union you guys feel is better, NYSNA or 1199? This is strictly based on RN's experience. Does NYSNA give annual salary raises? I have two offers and one hospital is NYSNA other is 1199, was wondering the benefits of both because the one that is 1199 is offering a lot more money.

I work with NYSNA as my primary union, my second job is 1199 which I've heard from a number of RN's is better, especially those with kids because they pay for summer camps and etc. So far my experience with NYSNA isn't bad however my healthcare benefits with 1199 are better. Hope this somewhat helps
