NVCC Spring 2020

I just checked the MEC FB page. 280 applicants. I know there are only 100 slots. ??

Fellow Spring 2020 applicant here as well. I am curious to hear what others have based on the selection criteria. Perhaps we can streamline the process and make it easier for current/future applicants.

• Prerequisites: BIO 141, PSY 230, TEAS
• Co-requisites: BIO 142, BIO 150, CST and Humanities elective
• When did you apply?

I have all of the pre-reqs, CST, and Humanities. I scored above the minimum requirements on the TEAS, and am currently enrolled in BIO 142.

Yes this is my 3rd time. Im pretty determined lol.

Did you guys get the email stating that your application has moved on?

Are the 280 applicants that have moved on to the next round or how many applications they have received in total?

No did you? Those emails usually go out as they are processed. Last cycle they processed them in chunks by date of submission. I applied the day before 20th deadline, so I wont hear until the end. So the earlier you applied you will here sooner. Im like a detective and the pattern that I see is they go apps Tues and Thurs. So people would get emails Wed and Fridays of the week.

I just got the email letting me know that my application has moved on too! I applied back in August.

Awesome! Was it early or late August? Im so anxious.

I applied towards the end of August. I emailed them back just to clarify if we'll all be notified at the same time or on a rolling basis based on when we applied and they responded back saying we'll all probably find out around the same time.
