Hey everyone! I just started Obstetrics and my teacher has requested us find a journal to do a presentation on. The dilemma is that it has to be a nursing journal written by a nurse. The topic is MedSurg complications. I've tried many places and I couldn't find much. Can you

To find a nursing journal written by a nurse, try using CINAHL as the basis for your search. Your school's librarian can help you with this, if you have not used this database before.
If I were doing this assignment, I'd pick a specific complication to search with. Like, if we were searching a grocery store, don't search for very general terms like "Food", or "breakfast food", but search pretty specifically like, "whole wheat bread" or "citrus fruit". Med-surg complications are numerous. Find one you like, and look in the CINAHL keywords to find the exact wording. If this is all greek to you, please see the librarian.
After you find the actual article, then look at the credentials of the authors to find one with a background in nursing. CINAHL will pick up medical and other specialties, not strictly nursing.
Best of luck.

try medscape, it might have what you are looking for. You can always go to your campus library and ask for help, they generally have journals of all kinds and someone that will help you find what you are looking for, just ask for help, that is what they are there for.

I am not sure what you are asking about, but if you want a magazine that deals strictly in womens health try JOGNN. It is the Journal of Obstetric, Gynecologic, & neonatal nursing, that is full of research articles on any and all of the different parts of womans health including obstetrics
Thank you so much everyone. I ended up using JOGNN and 3 hours of my daybut I found exactly what I was looking for!
