Nursing school

Published

Hi,

I am located in Roseville CA, I am currently a NHA registered medical assistant looking for a LVN or RN Program in the Roseville/Rocklin/Lincoln/auburn/ Sacramento area. I don't have prereqs so a program that doesn't require them is really what I'm looking for. Please let me know what you guys recommend I have looked at several schools in the area and I'm not having luck, one of the programs is Unitek college, it has an LVN program and a bridge program but it has terrible reviews so I thought I would ask here and see if someone knows of any other schools.

I think you're asking for too much. Any RN program is going to have prerequisites. Even programs that "don't" are going to require that you take them at their school before you get into actual nursing classes. And if you want to bridge from LVN to RN ...the RN prerequisites are still gong to be necessary before you start. Being an LVN won't get rid of them.

What are your reasons from wanting to switch from medical assistant to nurse? Depending on what they are, LVN school may or may not make sense for you.
