Does anyone know anything or went to University of Oklahoma School of Nursing Affliate with CSU San Diego, California. I am planning to go there for the BSN program. Helppppppppppppppppppp

I am in California and looking for school that offer 2nd degree BSN program. Is there anyone in this type of program now? Helppppppppppppppp

Is there any forum talking about this issue? I have been looking and have not found any. Thank you. Anything would help.:o

Unfortunately there is not a forum specifically for second-degree BSN students. I have found that many threads on this subject pop us in the graduate student forum.

I went through an accelerated 2nd degree program last year, and I would be happy to answer any questions that you may have. Please fee free to PM me.

Kimmai,

I moved your post to the California Forum, which is the best place to find out about your state's options for school. Good luck to you!

The U of O program is through Sharp Health Care. Go to http://www.ounursing.com/programs/rntobsn.html

You might also try CSU San Marcos at http://www.csusm.edu.

Try University of San Diego at http://www.sandiego.edu/academics/nursing. They have a Direct Masters program for non RNs with a BS/BA in another field. There are a lot of students in my class that already have their bachelors in another field and are going for their ADN. They didn't want to waste time getting another BS. You don't have to get your BS if you want to be an RN. There are pros and cons either way.

Good luck!
