Nursing school study tips?

Published

I am currently in my "first" semester of my nursing program after transferring from a different nursing program. The first nursing program I attended was accelerated and very fast paced so I feel as if my study habits were not efficient enough. The second time around, I feel like I have to adjust my study habits and organizational skills once again because the nursing program is so different. Different teaching styles and different requirements. What are some helpful study and organizational skills any current or past nursing students may have for me?

This is also an assignment, so any responses would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

One of the things I suggest all students do is to complete a learning styles inventory. Not everyone learns the same way or best studies the same way. Knowing your learning style can help you determine what study methods work best for you.
