Nursing School Appication

Hello fellow and prospect Nurses and Nursing Students!

I am a pre student who has applied (second time only) to my second choice Nursing Program in my area. I am quite nervous as the application process is stated that it can take up to approximately 8 weeks to get a reply according to the status of our nursing application into the program. It has finally hit the 8 week period. Yet I have to receive any form of communication about my status. No phone call, email, or a letter stating whether I have been declined or accepted.

This makes me a nervous wreck! I had met with a secretary of the Health Career at the college campus months prior to the open date for the application period. She was very certain my grades and exam scores were strong enough to get me into the program. But now that it has hit the 8 weeks waiting period and I have yet to receive any information, this worries me.

Have any of you gone through this?? What ended up being your results??

Negative or positive, any and every feedback is welcome!!

The college I have applied to is Porterville College out of Porterville, California. If you attend, hope to attend, or know anyone that attends here, your opinion and experience are greatly appreciated!
