Nursing Residency Programs

Hi all,

I am a nursing student in Illinois graduating in May with my BSN. I am planning on moving to Pennsylvania, and I am currently looking for hospital jobs with residency programs. I am looking to move to the State College area. However, I realize that it is not a very large city, and there are few hospitals in the area, so I'm not picky! I will be applying at Hershey Medical Center in December when the application goes live. Does anyone have any recommendations on where to apply? I found a link that has several other hospitals offering the program: http://www.vpul.upenn.edu/careerservices/nursing/nurseresidency.php

I am open to other suggestions if anyone has further information! Thank you!

There are a few hospitals that I know of. Penn State Hershey - thats where I will be in February. Also, lehigh valley hospital has a program but they are not hiring since I last checked and it's not near state college any how.

check out hospitals in the area you plan on moving too, some postings may say 1 year experience but apply anyways. hospitals are open to training new grads ( not even a residency program ) so don't narrow ur search just to that
