Nursing Manager Interview Project

Hey everyone! I am a nursing student in the middle of a Nursing Management Course and wanted to know if anyone would be up for an interview? I do not need your name, age, or any other personal information. If you would like to help me out I will list the questions below and you can just reply! I need multiple so dont be shy! Thank you very much in advance!

1. What are the greatest challenges as a manager?

2. What special qualities should a manager have?

3. What are the responsibilities of your job?

4. What input do you have in recommending new hires, getting new equipment, or general changes?

5. When a change is ordered, or required, what methods do you find helpful as a manager to use to help staff conform to change?

6. When identifying a problem with a staff member, what techniques or methods do you use? What role would you play in corrective action?

7. Do you participate in quality improvement activities?

8. Did you need any type of special training for your position?

9. Do you have to serve on any committees or attend meetings? If so how often?

10. How are you evaluated (type and time frame)?

11. What special types of organizational information do you need to know in order to carry out your job (example - union contracts, cultures, ect.)

Thank you!
