Nursing Informatics Entry-Level

Hello! Brief professional background: currently a remote, PRN DON at a home health care company (franchisee of a larger home health care company). Basically, nursing admin/management isn't my passion. How do I get my foot into the door with healthcare informatics? 
 

1. I already updated my resume through the healthcare IT department of my old school, Western Governors Univerisity). 
 

2. Trying to network on LinkedIn but it's honestly not helpful because it's a platform to showcase your credentials and vent.

3. Are there such opportunities for NIs to work PRN and remote? I'm a stay-at-home mommy!
