Hi! i'm a newly registered nurse. and kind of aconfuse of the real world.
I amplanning to work in NKTI or any hospitals with specialization after my BLS andIVT training. Can somebody help me how? or any opinions about it. is it hardfor a newly licensed nurse to pass the NKTI exam? or should i get first a fewmonths experience from other hospitals before i go there? From the very firstone of my dream is to work in NKTI but some people says it cost a lot, thetrainings etc. So i need to further think about it.
one the online sites says, there requirements are as follows:
NATIONAL KIDNEY TRANSPLANT INSTITUTE
btw whichis better IVT training in private institution or secondary or tertiary hospital? i hope someone can help me. thank you! i am also open for anysuggestions. thank you!
Anddoctor from Germany recommend us to take the B2 exam to work in germany evenwithout experience. she said the review for b2 cost for almost P10,000 good for6 months. And another one also suggest to take the EILTS instead.

Hello J. Anne, did you have any post graduate related nursing experience? Looking at it, NKTI wants nurses who have at least 6 months worth of experience from hospitals which have at least 150 bed capacity. Are you trying to apply for the Nurse 1 position or are you trying to enroll in their Renal Nurse Program. The first, I think wouldn't cost you that much because it's not a training program but an employment offer but the latter would be expensive because of the training fee.
You may want to clarify with them if they accept newly registered nurses or if they require anyone to undergo the Renal Nurse Program before you can apply for the Nurse 1 position.
To answer your questions about the IVT, of course any tertiary public and private hospitals are better than secondary hospitals. I took mine in a private hospital because it was most convenient at the time I decided to have my IVT. It's accessible from my workplace (which happened to be a BPO company), I didn't have to camp out or struggle waiting for hours in a queue to register (unlike when registering for it in many well known institutions) and there were sufficient number of patients that could fill in my cases tracker, so it doesn't really matter where you would take it as long as you would be able to try the different procedures yourself.
I hope this helps, know first if you're joining the training program or if you could apply for the staff nurse post directly.
Good luck on your applications.
