LVN looking for a position 20 hrs or more per week. I have over 10 years of nursing experience from being a CNA to LVN. Due to a 2017 DUI I am currently on nursing probation with the state board. I am seeking to work with a company that is familiar with the board of nursing and their probationary guidelines.
Please let me know if your facility needs an LVN. I am located in the antelope valley. I do need to have a RN or MD on site to oversee my work as a LVN. They do not need to follow me around. No charge nurse positions, no home health positions. (Not allowed)
I've been turned down by aurora psych hospital in Covina, tarzana treatment center in Tarzana and Palmdale locations and many treatment facilities due to lack of supervision. I do not have dialysis experience but I have applied to numerous jobs for both LVN and CNA yet no luck.
I'm not ready to say goodby to being a nurse. I want to do everything in my power to try to gain employment to fulfill the last requirement of probation and have my career back to support myself and my daughter in this harsh economy.
