Nurse Practitioner Programs Approved/Not Approved in Your State of Residence

 I was admitted to a FNP program that is approved by my state. I was wondering if anyone has moved to a different state during their program in which the state was not approved? Did you travel back to your home state to complete your clinical requirements? I can't find any laws or regulations that specifically state we can't live in a non approved state and travel for our clinicals. I need some help. I have contacted the program that I was admitted to, but they are unsure, so I was looking for some insight from someone else.
