Hello to any one who wants to hear. I am an LPN, and I started my nurse life in home health pediatrics. I have been working in the medical field for about 10 years as a CNA; 7 years in the hospital and 3 years in a nursing home. I challenged the PN boards, while I was in the BSN program with only 9 months left to graduate, but ran into financial problems and havent graduated. Regardless, I wear my LPN badge with very high honor. Due to me starting my nursing career in home health I've basically trained myself as a nurse as well as having a very fast paced precepting with other veteran nurses for new cases I've picked up. I have a full year of nursing experience now, but I do feel that I need a nurse mentor. I do not feel up to par as other nurses who have recieved OTJ training. Is there anyone out there who would like to be my personal nurse mentor?
