Maggie,

Yes this is the transition of the Pennsylvania Hospital School of Nurse Anesthesia into Unniversity of Pennsylvania with a May admission and 24 month MSN.

I have already been accepted to one of the Philly area schools, but for interest sake, I looked up the program online. Although they do not have any information specific to their new nurse anesthesia program, I noticed that tuition at Upenn was $41,000 for one year for the other graduate nursing programs! Does this mean that the Upenn CRNA program will be over $80,000!!! That's crazy.

You do get what you pay for!

The resourses are incredible!

Is this the same program that was under the auspices of Temple University? Temple charged $447 per credit hour for Pennsylvanian resident and $653 per credit hour for out-of-staters. At a total of 53 credit hours that one was required to take at that schoole, tuition cost came out to $23,691 for Pennsylvanians and $34,609 for out of staters. I don't know reason for the increase except that one can bragged to others that one attended an Ivy League school.

Thezman,

I've got a PM for you.
