hey guys...im a new nurse (graduated this last few months), im just wondering if NaCl can be used instead of NSS in nebulizer...because last week my cousin went to the pharmacy and the pharmacist gave him NaCl instead of NSS...is there possible effect of using NaCl especially in the electrolyte equilibrium? or it's just fine? thanks....

NaCl and NSS are the same thing. NSS=normal saline solution.
If your cousin has other questions/concerns, he needs to contact his healthcare provider.
