I'll be out of school with BS and working by January '11 and want to start a NP program part time(I expect it to take 4-6 years depending on research topic) and strongly prefer a PhD entry. I have a MS in another field. I would like to begin teaching half time starting around 2020. Any suggestions as to schools as I'd like to check out who is doing what, where ;-)
Thanks,
KPA

Did you mean DNP? There are BSN to PhD programs but they are not geared towards NP training. If you're interested in a BSN to DNP program, you may check the AACN list at: http://www.aacn.nche.edu/dnp/dnpprogramlist.htm. Be aware that some of the schools listed only currently accept entry as a post-Master's student with an active Advanced Practice Nursing certification.
