NP in Ohio

Hello, I am currently at a point in my life where I'm trying to decide if I should further my education. I'm interested in NP program but I'm not sure if the schooling is worth the pay increase. I currently make 55,000 as an RN in Cleveland Oh. I Googled salaries for NP and it varies so much. Is there anyone out here that works in ohio and possibly Cuyahoga county that could tell me 1. Was it hard to find work after graduation 2. Are you happy in your new position 3. Do you have to pay malpractice insurance 4. How much do you make per year 5. Where did you get your degree from (I plan on ursuline college - did anyone go through their program) 6. Was shool difficult- were you able to work prn 7. And anything else you would like to share- the good the bad. Thank you so much in advance.

I had 3 job offers within 2 months of graduation prior to passing boards. I am making $75,000 per year. Once my school loans are paid off my take home salary will be significantly more than as an RN. I had an offer in Cuyahoga county for $85,000. I enjoy my job and it is a different setting than as a hospital RN. I went to Georgetown online. I hope that was most of your questions... Can't remember them all :)

I started off working part time while going to school full time and eventually switched to PRN in the third semester of school. It was manageable. My work provides malpractice insurance but I also chose to purchase my own to better protect myself which is about $1000 per year.
