nova and barry information

Hi guys, I'm currently finishing my pre requisetes in order to apply to the nursing program over at barry and nova, I'm just a little bit scared cause my gpa is 3.01 so I don't think that would be enough for any of those, does anybody knows how the gpa calculation works for them, I do have an AA from mdc so I wanna know if they would only just take my classes that apply for my nursing pre reques and with those calculate my gpa of if only my overall gpa will count. If anyone knows please get back to me, I'll be done at mdc with my classes on the fall so I have a little bit more time to raise it. thanks again guys I appreciated it.

Could I ask why you are looking into Nova instead of getting your nursing degree from MDC?

I am in the same sort of situation and I am so confused on what to do. I will have my AA from Palm Beach State College and I am not sure about staying there to complete my nursing degree or to transfer and go straight into a BSN program. I looked into FAU, but they aren't accepting applications till Fall of 2015.

I just think nova will be a better option since you can go straight to have you bsn intead of going to mdc and getting you rn license then work and start applying again for the bsn. if you go to nova you can do it all in 7 semesters and once youre done youll be rn-bsn. I'm just scared of my gpa, if that doesn't work for me i'll just try barry or keiser, hope this helps
