Northeastern ABSM Spring 2023

Hey all! I’m currently in the process of fixing my application for the Northeastern ABSN program. Unfortunately, my circumstances were a bit crazy. So my grades are poor.
I was removed from my house at 18 due to domestic abuse and was homeless for all of half of 2019, and all of 2020. I slept in any anywhere from churches, mosques, care centers to just the streets of Boston. I do have a bachelors in Health Sciences (conc in healthcare admin) but I only have a 2.8

My science GPA is LOW. I am working on retaking whatever I need to. I also have clinical experience in clinics as well as a hospital which I’m currently at. My financial situation has improved as my mother re married a great guy who actually helped dig us out of poverty. So attending school with no financial responsibility is feasible. I’m currently 22 years old and just want a normal life for once and I believe nursing can really help me get there - specifically Northeastern.

I don’t have any friends so I figured maybe someone would have any criticism/wisdom/or just overall support for my application! Thanks guys!

I was looking at this program just now and am thinking of applying to their Summer start.

Any chance if their North Carolina site differs from their Massachusetts site in terms of clinical opportunities?

Also did you end up getting accepted?! Those are significant life events. I think they should definitely give you credit for that.
