Hello,

Anyone who knows a lot about NNAS. I chose Manitoba for my province. Then i want add another province as a backup. I have heard that CRNM (Manitoba) is so tidious and takes forever. What other province you can recommend?..thanks a lot

That's not really how you do it. You should be basing your choice of province on where you want to live and work, not on which one will assess you faster. The process is what it is. If the College needs to see documentation from your original location, they can't make those papers arrive in their office any faster than the originating location handles the request. Some original locations are better at documenting their curricula and evaluation process, management of all the paperwork they generate and priority placed on such requests. Others don't have good paperwork management strategies, filing systems and so on. And then there's translation... if your first language isn't English (or French for Québec) then there will be questions arising from translation of documents. NNAS is a clearing house and is supposed to assess each application according to a single set of standards. Then they relay their assessment to the College. They don't care which College you're processing through.

It seems you aren't necessarily talking about NNAS but the processing that would take in the provincial college of nursing after the NNAS evaluation. BC and Newfoundland, in case you need refresher courses, offer the shortest refresher courses in the country. SK is fairly tedious as my friends say... and Nova Scotia too. AB is like ON, fair but if you do need a refresher course, the waiting time will be way longer than Ontario. To be honest instead of seeing which province is the best, it is better to weigh job opportunities and think about where you would like to settle after getting the license

Do we have a WhatsApp group to talk about the nnas process... I think there are lot of places where clarity is required... Someone who is experienced can help...

You can use the search tool in the top right hand corner of AN to find a thread entitled 'NNAS experience', in it, IENS describe their experiences with NNAS and competency assessment processes.
