2019 NMC Decision Letter

So, I decided to start this thread so we can discuss our U.K. NMC decision letter stories as well as CoS and Tier 2 visa application in the year 2019. Especially with all the new updates and changes with the NMC for international registration and Brexit.

I joined the queue on the 20th of February and still waiting for my DL. I know it is still early. But these days, people have been testifying to getting it in less than 15 working days. I am really anxious. Anyone submitted around the time, and still waiting for their DL as well?

How do we know that we are placed in queue?

You can call them on phone, they will tell you the date you joined the queue

Hi All,

I heard the same as well. I heard that they take 12- 20 days to send out decision letters. I am not sure though.

It is my 25th day on queue today. I don’t know why mine is taking so long. I called the NMC and they said they don’t need any information from me, that I’m still on queue

The receipt of the last document sent( licence verification) has not been acknowledged after a week of delivery.Did anyone experience this too? What do you suggest?

Yes I did. And I called them, they said it can take upto working days for them to upload. But to my disappointment, after 10 working days, I received a mail saying they lost the document. I had to re-send. So, my advise is best to call them ASAP.

I submitted my application 6th April and my last document (licence verification) was received 13th and updated 23rd of April. When should I expect my Decision Letter?

With DL, CoS and favourable TB test results could there be any reason for UK not to grant Visa?

I got my DL after 6wks of joining the queue. Some get it in lesser time frame; but btw 3-6wks for most people I have seen.

I actually have not read any work visa rejection stories from nurses these days. Let’s always be positive, except the person has some criminal convictions, then the outcome might be dicey

At what stage does one join the queue? When you submit your application? When your last document is received or when the receipt of your last document is acknowledged? So how do you if and when you join the queue?

Hello,

My que date was April 15, 2019 and Im still waiting for my DL to come ??

When the receipt of your last document is acknowledged on your portal. You can as well call them

I think the NMC have a lot of applications in April unlike Jan-Feb, when they were giving DL with 2wks. I know of a colleague that joined the queue April, and yet to get DL.

Yes dear for sure. Friend of mine got his decision letter after 16 days only that was file on month of February. Some I spoken was April 13 and she received her DL after 20 days to be exact including weekends...
