I am going to be moving to Issaquah this summer. I am a NICU nurse in Phoenix with 3 years level 3 experience. Besides Children's, where else can I look for jobs?

Seattle Children's, Swedish, Valley, Evergreen, Tacoma General, UW Medical Center, etc.
Swedish and UW are probably the biggest ones but I'm not sure if they do ECMO like Seattle Children's does.
I am precepting at Valley right now as a senior nursing student and it's been pretty awesome! But it's not quite as complicated cases.
How many beds does Swedish have?
Our hospital doesn't do ECMO, so I'm not set on needing to be somewhere that does.
We have 65 beds and will be opening 40 new beds this June. I think I like the idea of a larger unit.
Thanks!!
40 beds? I'm not sure; you should call them up and ask.

Hi. My first time posting. I'm moving from CA to WA this summer. I have 5 years experience in a level III NICU. I have phone interviews with Seattle Childrens and UW this week. Any thoughts on the environment or care at either?
I have no idea, actually since I'm at Valley Med and I only did a peds rotation at Children's. I'll ask around with my classmates; one of them is doing her preceptorship at Children's in teh NICU.
I'm not sure how big UW is but Children's is pretty tiny; only a 14-bed unit.

Children's is a great place to work. I've been here for a year, and am very impressed by the quality of care & environment. Fantastic hospital and employer.
