I am currently a NICU nurse in Utah looking to move to Chicago to be closer to family and seeking an RN position in a NICU there. I am wondering if I can get some basic info about the NICUs there. I would like to know about job satisfaction, patient population, salary, and any other noteworthy positives or negatives (paying for parking, schedules, etc.)
I have tried to do some of my own research and here's a list of hospitals with NICUs that I've come up with:
Lurie Children's Hospital
Northwestern
Rush
University of Chicago
Loyola
John Stroger Hospital (Cook County)
Saint Joseph
Mt. Sinai
*If you currently work in or know anything about these NICUs or hospitals in general, please share!
