Nicu abuse

My child is in the nicu. We discovered a broken collar bone. He's 12 days old and it's a severe fracture. It wasn't on his X-rays from a few days ago. He was full term. The hospital is taking it seriously. Has anyone ever heard about something like this happening before? What would the best action to take be? We got him transferred already.

So sorry to read of your child in the NICU. I hope, whatever the condition, he advances quickly and can soon be home.

Per the Terms of Service, no one on this site may offer medical or legal advice.

Please keep communication open with his caregivers and hospital staff.

It would be appropriate to schedule a meeting with his doctor and nurses and other staff, to gain a full picture of his condition.

They are the best ones to answer questions.

Again, I wish him rapid healing and that he will soon be home.
