NEWCOMER seeking some help!

I am new to this forum so, please excuse me if I am not doing this right

Background Info:

I am in my last semester of grad school (Master's in Social Work).

I am interested in becoming a Psych NP.

I have gotten myself into a ton of debt pursuing my bachelor's and master's.

So I am looking for affordable paths to get me to my goal.

Currently, I am considering obtaining my ADN from an accelerated program. Which I can pay for out of pocket.

My question is: Are there other DNP programs other than Columbia's DNP that will accept applicants with a non-nursing bachelor's degree with an associate's in nursing?

I would look into a BSN express program since you already have a bachelor's degree. Most run 15-18 months. Not sure what the price difference would be compares to an ADN, but would open your options up when pursuing your MSN.

Good luck!

Tuition alone at various ABSN is 4 times as much as this accelerated ADN.

I feel like if I commit to 15-18 months for a ABSN I should just commit myself to a Direct Entry MSN programs to become a CNL, then get a post master's certificate. And pursue a DNP later on down the line.

You can do the accelerated ELM (Entry Level Masters) if you have a BS degree. You can sit for the boards in 15 months while finishing up your MSN.

Yes I am aware of Direct Entry programs.

I am wondering are there other programs like Columbia's DNP program.
