I am having problems with lovely care plans. Espicially the acut pain. My rationals have to come from the potter & perry book. This is the problem. I would appreciate any help anyone can give me

well, i don't have a potter & perry book, but i can link you to two online nursing diagnoses for acute pain that list nursing interventions with rationales. you'll have to find the same rationales in your textbook on your own. i suggest that you try using the index in the back of your book to find them:
