Yes, my friends, I took a promotion that was offered to me. I'm now a 3-11 shift supervisor for a 120 bed Long Term health Care Center.
During the past 3 months there hasn't been a supervisor only the nurses left to be in charge. Lots of problems that are too common with CNA's. Those of you in long term know what I'm talking about. My question to my dear friends is your advise to this new role? Anything and everything. What you hate about your supervisor and what you like, pros and cons I'll take them all. THANKS,
KAL

i am in the middle of interviewing for a relief supervisor position. i have plenty of experience, but wonder the same thing. how to be productive with the staff. i feel it is important to say hello to all the nurses i come across on rounds.
any other ideas????
