hi, I'm a resident in montreal, graduate from Phils, RN. I took my refresher course in montreal. I failed my exams in OIIQ, but I was able to work as CPNP/GPL for 1 1/2 yr. I wish to move to Alberta. I saw plenty of openings in Calgary, I want to apply. Do they hire right away? Is there relocation assistance? Or I still need to write CARNA for assessment? How longdoes it take for the processing? Is there anyone can me what to do?
I wish also to take Nclex, which states is the easiest and fastest to apply to?

You will have to apply to Alberta and be assessed and may need CARNA but best thing will be to contact the board and ask your questions. Like anyone else if moving provinces you need to be re assessed
Regarding NCLEX you are actually applying for licensure to be a RN in the US and with retrogression there is no rush so time to decide where in the US you want to live and apply to that BON although we do not recommend Ca for initial licensure application.
Best thing I can suggest is a good read in this forum and you decide where you want to live but be aware it will not be a quick process
