New and have a question

im new here.. i already took nclex-rn and it will almost expire, and i have my visa screen which will expire in four more years.. i'd like to know if it's possible that my nclex expiry date will be carried over with my visa screen certificate expiry.

thank you so much.

Which state have you applied licensure to? If CA you need to either quickly apply for a extension or apply to another state and arrange for your NCLEX results to move across. NCLEX date has nothing to do with VSC. VSC if for immigration where as NCLEX allows you to work as a nurse in the state you have a license or once in the US and have a SSN when a license is issued and can work (as long as you have a valid work/immigrant visa)

may i know what are the ways i could ask for an extension?

many thanks!

You need to write to CA and request an extension and stay that you are affected by retrogression.

If it is CA you applied to then I suggest trying the search facility and search this forum as much has already been written about CA
