NEW PN STUDENT

Hello everyone! :) I can not tell you enough how excited I am to begin this new journey as a nurse! Those of you who don't already know me here is a little background information. I am currently a STNA (6 Yrs.), A mother of 2 ( boy and girl 5 & 10 yrs. Old), and a newly wed. (1yr 4mos). I will be attending a LPN program this yr. (Sep. 29, 2014) here in Central Ohio. The program is a 12 month certification program, which will allow me to take the NCLEX-PN upon completion. My orientation is coming up and I am getting some type of anxiety! :nailbiting: :lol2: (I know it's horrible! ) So many emotions not knowing what to expect. In the coming three weeks I will be at home preparing as much as possible for the next; perhaps, most important 12 months of my life! Is there anyone who has already been through my experience. I am so impatient ..my school has not told us much of what is needed or how we can get in position for class. perhaps this is what we will go over in orientation but I can not wait that long. . It's bugging me.. I am hoping someone can shed some light on my current curiosity.. What can I expect on orientation day? What supplies can I buy now for school (besides books needed of course)? Is there anything I can get that will make my life easier as a PN student? Please share your experience? Thanks!

I don't drink but I did get a planner. Everyone has definitely stressed the importance of staying organized and on top of assignments. Thanx L1984
