new nurse residency programs

Hey guys!!

I was hoping someone on here might be able to help me out. With graduation fast approaching, I've spent the last month or so searching for open positions; however, most of the openings require 1-2 yrs of experience, and I have not seen many residency programs offered. It's starting to worry me a bit. It would be incredibly helpful if someone could tell me which hospitals in IL (preferably Chicagoland) offer a new graduate program. From what I've heard they are a great way to transition into the nursing role, and I've done online searches but no luck so far. I'd also be up for any hospitals who hire new grads on OB floors. :)

There was a thread or a sticky that used to be around here that listed all the nurse residency programs by state, or linked to a site that did. Where that thread is I have no idea, but it was pretty good.

Would this help?
