Hi All !!! Sorry to join the forum if you guys think it is too early, but I start nursing school from scratch in January. I am so excited about it!!! :) I will begin with the Nurse Aide I class at a community college. From there I am going to try to get in the nursing program at another cc to get a two year degree (going for RN). AND then hopefully I will attend ?Barton? to obtain a 4-year. I just wanted to see if anyone had any advice for me. I have already been out of school for 5 years and I'm pretty nervous about going back.

Welcome to the forum! :balloons: We're glad you're here. When I decided to go for my ADN, I had been out of school for 17 years The biggest battle I faced was with my self-confidence and believing I could do it. Going back to school turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life. Now, 9 years later I am teaching RN students at the very community college from which I graduated :chuckle Please let us know if there is anything we can do to encourage you as you begin your journey into the wonderful profession of nursing :)
THANKS FOR THE ENCOURAGEMENT!!!
