Hello guys. Was wondering if you guys have any advice for me as i begin my career as a telemetry/icu nurse? I am trying to prep as much as i can in order to make a "smooth as can be" transition into the workforce.

Welcome to allnurses! We actually have an entire forum dedicated to nurses who are in their first year of practice- the First Year After Licensure forum can be found under the career tab at the top of the desktop site or in the grey menu at the bottom of the mobile site. I've asked to have your post moved there for the most relevant responses.

Good day from a new cardiac telemetry RN. In the best case, your orientation will help you prepare. Check out RegisteredNurse.com and NRSNG.com for good telemetry resources. Ask your fellow coworkers for what they use as brain sheets to keep track of their patients in between charting.
