new grad info

When I graduated many people stated to start off on Med-Surg and frankly I LOATHED working on the floor in Nursing school. It all comes down to your comfort level. L&D wouldn't be bad for a new grad. ICU and especially ER is where "some" new grads may feel overwhelmed. I started off in ER and knew exactly what I was getting into and never looked back. I'm in the E.R. at a Level 1 trauma center and have no regrets.

If L&D is what you want, go for it or you will be miserable IMO.

Best of luck :)
