Here in about a month I will be starting as a case manager for the company I now do private duty for. I was told by another old case manager that being CM comes with no extra pay....does that sound normal to any of you HHC nurses??

Yes, it sounds normal. Where I am, HC pays the same or less than the hospital. They can call you a CM, HC nurse, etc...and you all do the same thing.
That being said, when I was a CM in HC- not just doing visits, but care management- I was a grade higher in pay than a staff RN. However, I have heard that the company recently cut the grade back down to staff nurse grade.
