NET Testing Locations besides at DCCC

Published

Hi.

Does anyone know of any places that you can go and register to take the NET besides the one at DCCC (Delaware County Community College) in the Philadelphia or South east part of Pennsylvania?

I'm trying to see if I can find other testing facilities besides DCCC.

Thank you!

I know you have to take if for Brandywine school of nursing but I do not know what dates they are having them. You may have to take them where you plan on going to school but I am not sure.

Brandywine offers them and so does Phoenixville

Thanks! Would you be able to tell me more information like the website for Brandywine and Phoenixville where I can find out how to register for the NET there? I'm not familiar with the area but heard of them. Are they colleges like DCCC where you go to the location and register for the NET and take it there?

Hi There,

For Brandywine just call the Brandywine School of Nursing and they can give you the info. For Phoenixville they are part of hte SRMC school of nursing in Petersburg, VA and they are the online school but they have their own Nursing School right in Phoenixville I would call Phoenixville Hospital main number and ask for the school of nursing and they should give you the number or connect you. You may be able to goto SRMC website and check it out. Not sure what it is though I would just google it. I hope this helps good luck.

I found out a test date at Thomas Jefferson University in Phila next month. So I might try that one out. But will check out Brandywine and Phoenixville. Brandywine testing dates for 2008 seem to have past, so I don't know if they are going to have any more.

Have you taken the NET at either Phoenixville or Brandywine? Are you currently in nursing school?

Thanks for your help!

Hey There,

Long story short I tested at Brandywine, I was going to goto their school of nursing. At the last minute I opted out because I found out about SRMC program in Phoenixville. It was online and worked with my schedule and family I only had clinicals 2 days a week and the rest was online. I graduated last August from there.

Thanks for yor help, NewGN88. I've always wondered how online work would compare to doing it the traditional classroom way when it came to nursing. Was it hard to comprehend the materials since you were teaching it to yourself basically?

What type of nursing degree do you get from SRMC? Is it an associate? Have you taken your boards?

Brandywine offers them and so does Phoenixville

Thanks, emilysmom, RN! I will check out Brandywine School of Nursing but I think they're NET testing dates are over for the year. I couldn't find out any dates coming up for it on thier website.

I hear Thomas Jefferson has one next month, so I may try it there.

Hi Ley6451,

I didn't think it was hard to comprehend at all. Don't get me wrong nursing school was HARD and you really have to study and put everything into it but I made good grades. I made deans list 2 semesters I think. I missed 2 semesters by a B barely and last semester I barely made it but got the 75% to pass. Last semester is always HARDER due to senioritis and you are READY to be done. I like online so much better because if I find it and search I learn so much better. You get a diploma degree from them but I believe they are trying to change it to an associates. I only have to take 1 more class and I can have my associates. Unfortunatley I did take my boards and I made the mistake of taking them too soon because I was in a rush to work. I did not properly study so I did not make it. I am retesting in Jan and doing Suzannes plan this time. Only 1 other girl in my class has taken boards and she used Suzannes plan after school and she passed her first time no problem. BIG ADVICE don't HURRY it's not worth it you'll ALWAYS get a job. I now set myself back a few months because I thought I did enough when I didn't. Good luck.
