NET Study Guide

Published

This is what makes me want to pull out my hair. I've been reading some previous posts on NET study guide from Eriworld. Most people are saying that it's a good resource and how it's almost exactly like the actual test. Some people are claiming that it's almost word to word the same!

WELL MY TEST MUST BE THE ODD ONE!! The net I took had really hard to understand articles, not simple to understand ones about grass and owl!!

WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON!!!

I studied from that particular study guide and you are right it was nothing like the exam I took. I also made the big mistake of buying the "secret to the ___" guide online. BIG MISTAKE! Don't waste your time or money. They guarentee your money back if not satisfied; guess what, you can't get a hold of them to get your money back. The line is always busy they don't answer your e-mails.

The TABE study guide is sufficient for passing the NET. As for the reading the best advice is to not take too much time on a question. I ran out of time at the end. Go with your first guess and move on; especially since all the answers seem like they could be correct.

I just finished the NET on Thursday. The math was the same, and the reading was similar in structure, but harder to figure out. I also ran out of time. My biggest problem was letting others around me distract me. I suggest wearing earplugs. LOL. I made a 90 on the math and a 65 I think on the reading. A total composite of 77. I thougtht that the questions about test taking were stupid. I just clicked on an answer and went on.

pandaluck, I found the eriworld online practice test just as valuable, if not more so, than the study guide. When I took my NET, the math was pretty much dead-on from the study guide, but I also thought the reading was a little tougher than in the study guide.

I hope you did OK on the test anyway!!
