so i recently went on an interview at a hospital where i did an internship and where my mom used to work. i know i should be jumping up and down but i can't help to think that i got called because i worked there. i feel as if i didn't " work for it persay". i'm crazy right? but anyways friday i went to go take the pharm test and the floor that i will be on is med surg. i havent gotten an official letter with when training starts but i am nervous as can be. i wish i was still in school LOL. i Just got my license 2 months ago and im like did they make a mistake? the other day i couldnt even remember the workd for " fast breathing" i had to look it up. omg that is sad.i'm worried that things that i learned from school i'm not going to remmeber it to apply it to the shoptail. i mean we learned so much. i'm also worrying that i'm not going to be able to know which questions to ask, or when to react, call physician, do a good physical assessment, advocate. Having clinicals 2 days a week and doing skills in school which not all of us barely get to do in clinical is definitely not the same as the real world. and when i see students who just graduated and they are into their 6 months in and working i'm like i want to be like them. are they that smart that they can apply things from school. Sigh i dont know people say i'm smart but the fact that i couldnt even to give you a lengthy explanation about something makes me feel like i'm not so smart after all. so please can anyone give me some advice i really want to do my best. another thing i'm not a in your face type person which people might take as "mean" so i know im gonna have to put myself out there and talk to people and i'm the type to respond to when i feel disrespected and i know i need to learn how to just brush things off and just smile with ok
