Need help!

Hey yall,

I am heading back to school for prenursing. I already have my BA in political science so I just need to knock out the prereqs and then apply in February. I just needed some advice on what to take and when to take as it's been seven years since I've taken a science class...I did pretty well in them, but I will admit I don't remember much from them.

I need to take these in order to be admitted into the fall and I'm trying to figure out if it's even possible and which classes would be best to take together. Any advice would be wonderful, thank you.

- Chem

- Bio 1 & 2

- A&P 1&2

- Microbio

- Stats

Thank you!

Good day, dharmainitiative:

The above looks like a 3 semester combination. Chem, Bio 1, and Stats for the first semester. Bio 2, AP1 for the second. AP2, Micro for the 3rd. Granted, I'm not sure what's in your bio 1 or bio 2 classes. You generally need to complete AP1 before you can take AP2. Microbiology tends to build on AP1; taking it with AP2 is hard, but doable.

Do you have an advisor at school that can help you plan out your classes?

Thank you.

Yes generally the bios need to be taken before A&P. But I generally you only take 1 bio class. Check and see what is a prereq for what.

Does your college require any prerequisites for any of those? At my school, they don't require Bio 1 & 2, but the two A&Ps and Microbiology need to be taken one after the other, as each is a prerequisite for the next.
