need help with a question

Hello everyone I have my first assignment in nursing school. The assignment was to research the Illinois nursing act and record the responsibilities of the student nurse. I have yet to actually find anything in this act that refers to student nurses. Can anyone please tell me what I am obviously overlooking?? Your assistance will be greatly appreciated!!

I can't speak directly to Illinois, but where I am student nurses are held to the same standard as a licensed nurse.

what john said. caveat: one can only practice to the level of one's education and experience. as a new student, you are held to that standard of practice of things that an rn would do. for example, if you haven't learned to regulate iv's, you wouldn't be expected to do that. but if you have had your iv lab and theory and now you have your first clinical patient with an iv that you have to regulate, then you are held to the rn standard of doing so.
