Need some help please

That's really a decision you're going to have to make yourself! Weigh out the pro's and cons:

Accelerated BSN:

Pro: Finished in 1 year and you graduate with a BSN instead of an RN

Con: Fast paced It may be very hard to balance being a mom, studying, doing clinicals, but at the same time it is only one year.

Con: you may not be able to work at all

RN at a community college:

Pro: 2 years at a slower pace, you will probably be able to hold a part time job

Con: You are going to school longer than you would for a BSN

Pro: After you get your RN license, you could complete an online program to receive your BSN

Don't forget a lot of universities offer 2 year BSN programs which may be a better choice for you since you already have a bachelor's degree and it's a slower paced way to receive a BSN. Good luck!

If you need to work, even if it is only part time, and you are a mother (even of you werent a single mom), then I would advise against the accelerated BSN. Thet may not even acceot you if you have too many other commitments (I hear some schools make you sign some sort of waiver that you will not work while in the program). These programs expect 100% commitment.

Even a ADN at a school (at a 'regular' pace) is going to be quite a challenge. Fortuntaltly, you should have some courses out of the way, so you may not have to take a full load of classes. My students who are only taking nursing can tell you they feel like they are in school full time (1.5 days aof lecture, 2 days of clinical). And the work does not stop when they get home; care plans, papers, and studying for exams. So I can't even imagine what 'accelerated' is.

You can most definitely do it, but why stress yourself out more by trying to get it done quicler, just to have another Bachelor's degree? You already have a college degree, that will still go on your resume.

What was your major?

May be you have enough pre-requisites to apply for an accelerated program. I think it's a great option and you won't have to take classes that you already had.

That is what I did, but again you have to make a decision based on your unique situation. (FYI, I also heard that Pace's accelerated program is not very good)
