Need Help Paying For College!!!

Bottom Line is I'm a nursing school. A freshman, jsut got an emergency loan because my financial aid said to do this since they would have to send my scholarships 6 weeks after school started. Anyways, i thought the scholarship would be big but it was only 350 dollars out of the 3,500 dollars that i owe for the emergency loan coming up this OCT. 1. Anyways, i might have to get a loan. Well, i am lost because i have heard that there are so many nursing scholarships and grants, but i can't find them that can actually help me in this jam. Also, how can i find these programs where you work after college for so many years and they pay for your college expenses. I'm trying to get BHPR or whatever that is but what r some other ones. The first place to look for scholarships is with your local hospitals. When I went to school, I had a local hospital pay for my school inclusive of books and expenses. The obligation was to commit to 2 years of work for them after school. I was also not required to work during my school years.

The HR department is a good place to start. Good luck on your search.

I also had not heard of hospitals doing this and was exposed to the idea by the nursing faculty in my school. Go to the HR department (or call HR departments of hospitals in Boston) and talk to them. See what they have to offer potential nurses (RN). You may be shocked at what you find. Good luck. I got mine from Exempla Healthcare in Colorado (if you want to relocate ;-))
