Need Help Passing NCLEX

Published

Hello-

I am from Columbus, Ohio and I was wondering if anyone knows of a tutor for the NCLEX-RN in this area?? I have already taken my NCLEX twice and failed. I have already taken a review course, and gone over many books and multiple questions. If anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear them.:( Thanks.

I have a PDA and put a NCLEX program on it so any time I had to wait any where I could study. Hurst has a review course that is very good. and if you don't pass they have a remidial program if you don't pass they say they have a 98% pass rate. It's cost alot thought like 350 dollars. You can do it in person, online or DVD. They also have a money back gaurantee. My school used ATI test to I believe they have programs you can take online as well. You first need to figure out what it is that you are doing wrong while taking the test. It may not be a matter of what you don't know but what your doing when you take it like second guessing yourself. I had a teacher tell me one of biggest things you can do wrong on a test is change your answer. Or over thinking the question. Have you requested a review to see what areas you need the most help? I hope I have helped. Good luck

Yeah, it does kind of seem that when I get into the test I kind of freeze. It's almost as if I don't remeber anything and my mind kind of goes blank. Its an aweful feeling because I prepare really hard for this test! Thank you for the advice though!! :wink2:

Your welcome. There are medical conditions like this and if you go to a doctor and explain what happens to them and you are dx with a medical condition then the board has to make some modifications so that you have the same chance to pass as everyone else. I went to school with a couple of ladies that had this same type of thing occuring. The doctor gave them anti anxiety meds to take before the test. They were just strong enough to help them relax enough to take the test not knock the out. Good luck.

I will keep you in my prayers:redbeathe

I understand how u feel, with the disappointment of not passing the NCLEX. I'm taking the Mark Klimek RN NCLEX review sept 26-28 in Florence KY. I have heard from many RN's who has taken this review and said it is well worth the time, and money.

Sorry u don't live closer to Dayton I'm looking for someone to study with.

good luck and keep in touch
