need help with OB case study... precipitous labor?

I am doing an OB case study, and part of it include identify the risk and intervention for your patient.

My patient is G2P1, 40 week 0 day, and was admitted for induction of labor.

so heres what happened..

5 ish - pt started to feel contraction

7 ish - pt was admitted -- 3 cm dilated (got it from the report)

8:15 - start pitocin 8:38 - artificial rupture of membrane.

8:45 - first lady partsl exam - 3cm dilated, 50% effaced, -2 station

9:50 - epidural (we did gave her LR bolus to prevent hypotension)

10:50 - second lady partsl exam - 10cm dilated, 100% effaced, -1

11:52 - baby delivered.

I wanted to say patient had a precipitous delivery. but it doesn't sound quiet right.. as the book define it as-- "when the entire process of labor and birth occur within 3 hours". but it was still a fast labor compare to the average on the friedman curve..?

precipitous labor put patient at risk for postpartum hemorrhage r/t hypotonic uterus, increase risk of cervical, lady partsl laceration, abruptio placentae..

besides the fast 2nd and 3rd stage of labor.. nothing significant happened really.

we did do an in and out cath d/t bladder distention and pt was unable to void due to the epidural effect...

but besides that.. patient was doing really well.. VS was stable and she had great family support too.

any suggestions?
