Need Help making a decision on continuing my LPN program.

currently i am taking nursing fundamentals, and anatomy & phsiology classes . i am in a 15 month accelerated nursing program. all of the accelerated programs at this institute earn you a degree of some sort, whether it be an associates in medical assisting , or an assosicate's in nursing or a bs in nursing. the only program that doesn't have the opportunity to achieve a degree is the program i am in now the lpn. which you only get your certification.here is my concern.... i have been going to school at this institute for 2 months now, and before i devote anymore time or waste any money in the lpn program. is it wiser for me to drop down to medical assistant then get my associates degree as a ma, and then transfer my credits from ma to get my bachelor's in nursing? is that possible? someone please help..this is my dream! i want to take care of people, and make them feel better. i just feel like my dream of becoming a registered nurse is so far away. i just don't want to be mislead by these advisors at my school when i decided to change my classes. thanks everyone!:wink2::nurse:

sincerely,

i doubt medicl assisting can transfer into nursing credits. those are two completely different things. the closest u can get to being an RN is to continue your LPN, then transfer to a LPN-RN or LPN-BSN program. with medical assisting you'd have to start nursing all over from scratch.
