Need help through licensing

I know the following topic has been talked about often but I need a little help if any one has had an adult criminal record and has gotten licensed in the state of California can you give me some advise...I've went to the BRN website but I think it would be more helpful from a student's or nurse's experience. I would strongly appreciate any help because I will finish in December 2007. Thanks.
