Do not get down on yourself it was the first test! Fundamentals is about learning to think critically. You really have to pick through the question/senerio to find out what the question is asking you to find an answer for. Once you find that, then there will always be two wrong answers, and two right answers. You need to find the answer that sounds the most logical for the question.

Celebrate the fact that you at least passed, maybe not with the grade you wanted, but you passed and that is an accomplishment.

Find out how you learn best and then implement that learning style into your studying. For instance, I am a visual learner so I am always drawing concept maps and diagrams to learn the material. I also take notes on my reading and record my lectures. I listen to the lecture again when I get home from class and take my lecture notes and then add in my reading notes. When I have to study for a test, I do all the questions in back of the chapter and utilize the CD that came with my book to answer additional questions from the chapter. I read my notes and listen to the lecture again before the test. So far, I am getting A's and B's on my Fundamentals test with this method, but you need to find what is going to work for you.

HTH!

thank you for the advice! :nurse: im starting to go over the first chaper for the following test very slowely making sure i understand every sentence word for work and making outlines. in my case i have to go slowly and carefully what i read bc i can read it once or twice but if i dont stop and think what i read i get left behind. i purchased a review book for fundamentals also in barnes and nobles but to be honest with you i think i should just concentrate on the book for the school. thank you for your advice wish me luck i hope i do better my 2nd test is in two weeks ill let you know how it went! :)
