Need to find a RN program without a massive waiting list.

I'm a LVN here in Los Angeles and ready for the RN program, one problem, the massive waiting list. Is there any schools that have a waiting list of under a year and a half? I keep hearing 2 to 3 years to enter. Any suggestions? Thanks.....:banghead:

Yes, we will be there middle of June. Most likely we will stay there for 4 yrs. then move again.

I been calling San Marcos for about a month with no luck, finally I desired to complain with the nursing director and finally got an email from one of the advisors. We'll see what happen next.

At Cypress College, they give preference to LVNs for the 3rd semester slots. I graduated with 6 or 7 LVNs. One of them said she and her friend got in as soon as the prerequisites were completed. http://www.cypresscollege.edu

25ssb - Have you looked into schools in Ventura County? I know it's a bit of commute from LA, but it may be worth it. I got into the LVN bridge program at Moorpark right away with no wait, however, I was unable to start the program b/c my husband's job moved us to San Diego. And I think Ventura College is the same. Moorpark is just on the other side of Simi, so depending on where you are in LA, it may not be that bad. Plus, Moorpark students do their clinicals at some LA hospitals.
