Need Feedback Please

Let me run this by you all and please let me know how you feel about it.

Our school system has a hard time getting School Nurse Substitutes (as most of you probably do ) So they run an ad in the local paper asking for

School Nurse Subs.....and stated that RN or LPN prefered, but not required !

Now we are all RN's and LPN's and we do the job well each day of the school year...so what is the liability for us if we are out sick and they get an unlicensed person working in our place for that given day ? This just doesn't set right with me. What do you think ?

thanks:angryfire

Follow up on that immediately. You would not even be able to train the person. What state are you in? In most states this would be practicing without a license. Send the ad to the Board of Nursing in your state and get an opinion: http://www.ncsbn.org/
